FC Kosova Dusseldorf has completed a season in the Landesliga Niederrhein, which did not meet their expectations, especially towards the end. For the new season, most of the squad has left, with Engin Kizilarslan already being appointed as a new coach, and the club wants to fundamentally reorient itself. A crucial factor is that Kosova finally wants to have a long-term solution regarding their playing location. President Bejar Neziri explained the plan. "It would be very important for the club to have its own place," he emphasized. Currently, FC Kosova plays its home games on rent at the VfL Benrath 06 facility. Neziri wishes for more planning security in this regard. "We want to become homely someday. Whether that happens through a long-term contract with Benrath or otherwise, we will see." The club has been dealing with this issue for a long time, so far without success. "We are actively searching, but it remains complicated. I also hope that we will be heard by the city of Dusseldorf in this matter," he said. The prerequisites for this are met by FC Kosova Dusseldorf. "In the surrounding area, we already have a certain radiance. We usually fill the house away from home." However, he emphasized that this should not be a prelude to many demands. "We are always interested in a joint solution. That would also be the case in talks with the city," he clarified. For this reason, he renewed his wish. "I really hope that the city will give us a hearing." According to Neziri, becoming homely, regardless of the form, would not only have positive effects on the club itself. "Through the already mentioned radiance due to our fan presence, this would also animate other clubs that play in the leagues below us," he emphasized. For the future of FC Kosova, this is the central building block. "If we can settle somewhere long-term, we also have more security on a sporting and financial level." As mentioned, the club must completely reorganize itself in view of the upcoming season. Only a handful of players remain with the club, and the board wants to provide financial stability in the long term.
